Carol Underwood concentrates her law practice on representing employers and insurers in workers’ compensation defense cases.  Her practice areas also include personal injury, slip and fall, products liability, and general insurance defense cases.  Ms. Underwood was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2006 and is a member of the Defense Research Institute, Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, the Bootle Inn of Court, and the Macon Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Ms. Underwood is also the co-author of the published article entitled “They Tried to Make Me Go to Rehab : A Practitioner’s Guide to Striking Jurors For Cause In The Wake of Kim v. Walls”

Ms. Underwood graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Georgia Southern University (2003) and Cum Laude with a J.D. from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law (2006).  In law school, Ms. Underwood was named a member of the Order of Barristers.  She was also a member of the Gabrielli Family Law Moot Court Team and served as Editor of the Lawson Moot Court Competition.
