Dennis Duncan focuses his practice on workers’ compensation law, representing employers as well as state and local governmental units. His practice further extends to general insurance defense. Mr. Duncan became a member of the State Bar of Georgia in 1991. He is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and in the State and Superior Courts of Georgia.
Mr. Duncan earned a B.M. from the University of Georgia (1981), a M.M. from the University of Colorado (1985), and a J.D. from Mercer University, Walter F. Georgia School of Law (1991). Recognized for his experience and expertise in workers’ compensation law, Mr. Duncan received an appointment to the position of Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia for workers’ compensation. Mr. Duncan regularly speaks at continuing legal education seminars on workers’ compensation matters. He also is a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association.
